Data licences

This site combines two open datasets, both attributed in full in the footer of every page:

• Geography and sold prices – Contains HM Land Registry data © Crown copyright and database right 2026, licensed under the Open Government Licence v3.0.
• Energy performance – Energy Performance of Buildings data © Crown copyright and database right 2026, Department for Levelling Up, Housing & Communities, licensed under the Open Government Licence v3.0.

Energy data and personal data

Address-level energy performance data is treated as personal data. For that reason this site publishes only aggregates – band distributions and averages computed across many certificates for a street, postcode or area. We never publish a single address paired with an energy rating, never name an individual, and apply a minimum-certificate floor below which no street or area page is shown, so that an aggregate can never identify one property.

Stamp duty rates

SDLT rates are reproduced from gov.uk and dated with the tax year they apply to.

No advice

Nothing on this site is a property valuation, survey, or financial, tax or legal advice. Estimated savings are the register's own figures, averaged; the figure for any one home depends on its fabric and heating. Always verify against primary sources and a qualified assessor before acting.
