The data

Figures on this site are computed from two open datasets: HM Land Registry Price Paid Data (geography and sold prices) and the Energy Performance of Buildings register (DLUHC), both published under the Open Government Licence v3.0 and attributed on every page. Energy figures are published only as street, postcode and area aggregates over many certificates; no individual property is identified. Every figure is derived from real recorded data; nothing is estimated or invented beyond the register's own values.

Information, not advice

Retrofit Worth provides information and calculation only. It is not a valuation, survey, energy assessment, mortgage, tax or legal advice, and must not be relied on as such. Estimated savings are the register's own figures, averaged. Always take professional advice before a property or retrofit decision.

Reports & data packs

Where we offer a paid area report or data pack, you are paying for the curation and convenience of compiled, cleaned open data – not for the underlying dataset, which anyone may obtain free from HM Land Registry. Each download includes its licence notice. Payments are handled by Stripe.
